APRIL 2019
Thank you Bev and Mark once again for a very comfortable home from home (our 3rd visit) It has been an interesting week from our trip by steam train on the Severn Valley Railway when we saw elephants and a rhino from the train, to the Llangollen steam railway which was a beautiful trip. Four new baby moorhens arrived this week, living in the little duck house on the pond and the swallows are back in the barn. A lovely week and the coffee cake was delicious.

Thank you for yet another fantastic stay. Oakpond Cottages never ceases to disappoint (cottage is always spotlessly clean and cosy) The new hot tub is fantastic but most of all your warmth and genuine interest in guests set you apart from others and makes our stay special. Scones and treats were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our night out with you at Spice heaven.

Thank you for yet another lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. It was so nice to walk into Oakpond last night to a warm and welcoming home from home. The garden and pond area is lovely and we enjoyed watching the wildlife and have had everything from woodpeckers to pheasants and have counted 13 moorhens. Enjoyed a day out at Trentham shopping village and the regular trip to Snugburys.  Hot tub great as always and hope to see you again next year.

Another lovely stay in your lovely cottage and a heatwave as well. Great accommodation and location. Bev was a great host.
Elaine & Paul (oakwood) Warwick

Many thanks for the cake that we enjoyed and the dog treats which were polished off at great speed. Really nice to have a exercise field so close. The cottage instantly felt like home and seemed to welcome us back from our various exhibitions. Canal side walks were a favourite with all four of us  but a special mention has to be made of the thought provoking “knife angel” at the unique British Ironworks centre. A wonderful week with much done but with so much still to do.
