    1920`s Showmans Waggon

    Maggie is our little  unique horse-drawn showman’s waggon which sleeps two adults.

    The waggon was used for the clowns and fortune tellers at the circus in the 1920`s due to her size of being only 6 foot wide by 11 foot long and was horse drawn by one of the circus horses on their travels.

    Maggie lives on her own private spot which overlooks the fields with  our three pet sheep named One Eye, Boss Hogg and Junior.

    This beautiful waggon comes with the separate Hen House which is where our guests can cook, eat and relax whilst watching the world go by.

    There is also your own private wet room which is only a ten second walk away from the waggon.

    Due to the location of Maggie, guests may here the odd  moo from our cows and our resident barn owl hooting late at night plus you may be lucky to hear the farm fox calling.

    Strictly, no smoking, vaping or candles in and around the waggon and buildings.

    Mixing the nostalgic with the  modern, guests have the option of using our very relaxing hot tub under a roof of atmospheric lighting with wonderful views.  (additional charge for this facility)

    MAGGIE

    This  unique little  showmans waggon is lovely and cosy for just two adults.  There is a small double bed with quality bedding to assure a good nights sleep.
    The two seat benches and gypsy table are perfect to plan out your days adventure or just simply play cards and just relax whilst looking out over the fields.
    A bespoke balcony surrounds the front of the waggon with seating and so perfect for chilling out on a summers morning  with no steps to contend with.

    THE HEN SHED

    A compact hut which you can cook, eat and relax in which comes complete with a cuddle chair whilst watching the cd television. (can only play cd films with which we have a huge library for you to select a good film to watch at night time).
    There is a 2 ring hob, microwave and a toaster for all your cooking needs including an electric cool box .
    Outside the shed is a picnic table and a rocking chair for two which is perfect for summer nights amongs the colourful fairy lights.
    The Hen Shed also has a table and two chairs whilst you have alfresco.
    A portable heater is also available for cooler nights.

    The Showmans Waggon is rural but only 10 minutes away from an award-winning canalside village and 2 lovely towns (Nantwich and Whitchurch ) as well as the beautiful Brown Moss Nature Reserve. We have five very good eating pubs including our village pub The Olde Jack Inn  (40-minute walk) and The White Lion at Ash and there is also a super Indian restaurant that will deliver to the waggon.

    WET ROOM

    A shower and toilet with a wash basin are in this room and it  is also used for washing your cutlery and plates and for obtaining your water for your kettle.

    This showmans waggon is perfect for couples who require peace and quiet but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the local towns and villages.

    Smoking

    Strictly no smoking in or around the showmans waggon and the Hen House

    Dogs

    We regret that we do not allow dogs due to location of  Maggie and our animals

    HOT TUB

    The hot tub is housed in a separate building and has to be booked when booking Maggie.
    This is an electric hot tub and so no waiting for it to warm up like wood burning tubs as this hot tub is set constantly at 38 degrees.
    No smoking or eating in this room and no loud music as we dont want our cottage guests being disturbed.
