Please note that we do not allow dogs on the front lawn due to the coots and moorhens nesting and it is not dog proof.

The patio has a 3 foot  fence and we also  provide a stairgate across the kitchen french doors for children and dogs.  There are lots of wonderful walks including Brown Moss nature Reserve with its woodland walks and the Audlem locks. Our lane is safe for dog walking and we also have a exercise field for your dogs to let off some steam but must be supervised and put on a lead if there are cattle next to the field.

Oakpond can be booked with Oaktree which is attached and this will then sleep 8 but otherwise only one cottage is let out at any one time.

This is a lovely country kitchen/diner which has french doors opening out onto the patio and garden with wonderful views of the wildlife pond. There is a microwave, a large 70/30 fridge freezer, dishwasher, tv/DVD and oven (electric) plus a slow cooker. The pine dresser keeps all the games and jigsaws for those rainy days. A real traditional country kitchen.

This cosy beamed Lounge is fully carpeted and has comfortable seating whilst watching the 40″ tv/DVD with free view. We do have a DVD library with a selection of films to watch. Views of the wildlife pond and gardens from your comfortable seating are lovely with the added comfort of the cosyy glowing embers of the electric wood burner which is perfect for those winter nights.

This room is perfect for guests who want to want their privacy as it is a very relaxing room to ponder in. There is a cd player and radio as well as a desk for your laptop. The information files on walks and where to go are kept in here as well as a good selection of reading books.

The cottage is rural but only 10 minutes away from an award-winning canalside village and 2 lovely towns (Nantwich and Whitchurch ) as well as the beautiful Brown Moss Nature Reserve, who has the Chef in the wood who sells very tasty home-made pies and pasties. There is also a wild swimming and water park close by. We have five very good eating pubs including our village pub The Olde Jack Inn which is dog friendly  and The White Lion at Ash and there is also a super Indian restaurant that will deliver to the cottages.
